유목민 천막 혹은 팔각정처럼 보이는 팔각집에는 팔각형 중정이 있다. 가족이 머물기에 적당한 공간은 화장실 통로를 중심에 두고 두 공간으로 나뉘지만 중정으로 난 창들이 나무사이로 시선을 느슨하게 연결한다. 샤워공간은 중정으로 완전히 열려있어 저 멀리 지는 해가 살갗 솜털에 와 닿는다. 동틀녘 침대에서 눈을 떠보니 머리 높이 난 작은 창들이 가파르게 경사진 천장을 옅게 비춘다. 수도원에 온 듯한 착각도 든다. The octagonal house, which looks like a nomadic tent or octagonal pavilion, has an octagonal courtyard. The space suitable for a family stay is divided into two spaces with the passageway in the center of the bathroom, but the windows in the courtyard loosely connect the eyes through the trees. The shower space is completely open to the courtyard, so the sun setting in the distance touches the downy hair on the skin. When I woke up in bed at dawn, small windows high above my head lightly illuminated the steeply sloped ceiling. I feel like I'm in a monastery.
