장애 어린이들에게 실외 운동장에서의 활동은 매우 중요하다. 평소 제한되고 닫힌 공간에서 활동하는 경우가 많으므로 실외 운동장 만큼은 열려 있어야 한다. 중정은 장애 어린이들에게 폐쇄감을 유발할 수 있기에 신축되는 교사동은 ㄷ자의 평면을 가진다. 중심 공간에 교실을 두고 양쪽 영역에 최대한 연계가 적은 공간으로 영역을 설정한다. 정문 쪽으로 행정 관련실과 도서관, 강당을 배치하고 반대편으로는 특별교실과 놀이, 돌봄 교실을 배치한다. 장애 학생들의 실질적 이동의 편의를 위해 결절점에 2, 끝단에 2대의 엘리베이터를 두어 이동이 편리하도록 하고 교실 복도에 면해 심리 안정 공간을 두어 장애학교에서 나타나는 건축적 요소가 6개의 타워형태로 드러나도록 한다. Outdoor playground activities are very important for children with disabilities. Since people often engage in activities in restricted and closed spaces, outdoor playgrounds should be as open as possible. Because the courtyard can cause a sense of closure for children with disabilities, the newly built school building will have a U-shaped floor plan. Place the classroom in the central space and set up areas with as few connections as possible on both sides. Administrative offices, a library, and an auditorium are placed toward the main entrance, and special classrooms, play, and care classrooms are located on the other side. For the convenience of practical movement of students, two elevators are placed at the nodal points and two at the ends to facilitate movement, and a psychological stability space is placed facing the classroom hallway so that the architectural elements found in schools for the disabled are revealed in the form of six towers.
