최소한의 공사비로 집을 짓기 위해 경골 목구조를 사용한 대칭형 평면의 일층 집이다. 여타 시골집들과 같은 지붕 물매와 덧대어진 처마가 시골의 흔한 집의 유형을 상기시키지만 지붕, 벽체 모두 아연도 골강판으로 마감되어 강한 존재감을 가진다. Designed as a cost-efficient single-story house with a symmetrical plan, the project employs light wood framing as its primary structural system. Its pitched roof and applied eaves evoke the archetype of the ordinary rural house, yet the continuous cladding of corrugated galvanized steel across both roof and walls lends the building a distinctly assertive presence.

집의 형태는 단순하고 익숙하나 집 전체를 두른 아연도 골강판의 물성이 주변을 반사하여 다양한 색으로 변화한다. 안개가 낀날은 공기속으로 숨고, 햇빛이 강한 낮에는 지붕면은 산란되어 사라지며, 저녁 노을때는 집 전체가 붉게 물든다.  The form of the house is simple and familiar, yet the corrugated galvanized steel enveloping the entire building reflects its surroundings, continually transforming its appearance. In fog, the house recedes into the air; beneath the intense midday sun, the roof plane dissolves in scattered light; by sunset, the entire building is bathed in a deep red glow.

골강판의 특성을 살려 덩어리 보다 면을 강조하는 디테일로 집전체에 적용한다.

The detailing exploits the qualities of corrugated steel to emphasize planes rather than volumes, a strategy applied consistently across the entire house.

외부가 금속으로 마감되는 반면 집의 내부는 무늬목 합판으로 천장과 벽이 마감된다. 이러한 단순한 재료사용은 역시 공사비를 줄이기 위한 전략이지만 내부공간의 박공이 그대로 드러나는 것을 통해 풍요로운 공간감을 가진다. 바닥은 사용성을 고려하여 마모륨을 적용하고 화장실에는 공예적인 타일을 적용하여 디자인의 밸런스를 맞춘다. In contrast to the metal-clad exterior, the interior is lined with wood veneer plywood across both walls and ceilings. Although this restrained material palette stems from the need to minimize construction costs, it exposes the full gabled volume of the house, lending the interior an unexpected spatial generosity. Marmoleum flooring is selected for its durability and practicality, while handcrafted ceramic tiles in the bathrooms introduce a finer material texture, balancing the otherwise restrained palette.
