8차선 대로에 면한 노인복지관은 전면 도로의 소음에 대해 완충의 역할을 하는 거실 개념의 공용 홀을 가진다. 집 앞에 나와 옹기종기 모여 앉은 노인들의 마을 주민들과 만남이 거실 공용 홀에서 붉은 벽돌벽체를 배경으로 재현된다. 누구나 이용할 수 있는 소극장은 지하에 두고 대지 모서리에서 썬큰 계단을 통해 쉽게 접근할 수 있다. 피난 계단 하나는 외부에 두어 노인들이 쉽게 대피할 수 있도록 하고 전면대로에 접근시 조형적 요소가 된다. The senior welfare center facing the 8-lane road has a common hall in the concept of a living room that acts as a buffer against noise from the road in front. The meeting of the elderly villagers, who come out and sit huddled together in front of their houses, is recreated in the living room's common hall with the red brick wall in the background. The small theater, which anyone can use, is located in the basement and can be easily accessed through sunken stairs from the corner of the site. One evacuation staircase is placed outside to allow the elderly to easily evacuate, and becomes a formative element when approaching the front street.
