운동장을 향해 북쪽으로 면한 복도는 1.5미터의 안전난간 높이를 반영한 모습을 순수하게 드러내며 수평띠의 입면을 가진다. 캔틸리버 구조로 지지되는 복도는 입면에 기둥이 노출되지 않음으로서 수평띠가 더욱 강조되고 이는 기능적인 계단까지 이어져 양 끝단에서 말려 내려간다. 투명한 유리띠와 금속의 스팬드럴띠가 학생들의 복도에서의 활기찬 모습과 변하는 하늘의 색을 은은하게 반사한다. The corridor facing north toward the playground has a horizontal strip elevation that purely reflects the height of the safety railing of 1.5 meters. In the hallway supported by a cantilever structure, the horizontal strip is further emphasized as the columns are not exposed on the facade, and this extends to a staircase that rolls down at both ends. Transparent glass strips and metal spandrel strips subtly reflect the lively appearance of students in the hallway and the changing colors of the sky.
기존 건물과 3곳에서 연결되는 E 자형 평면에 기존 급식실로 연결되는 통로가 곡선으로 달라 붙는다.
The passage leading to the existing cafeteria is curved on the E-shaped plan that connects to the existing building in three places.
중앙홀의 보이드 벽에는 떠오르는 태양을 은유한 개구부가 동해시에 위치한 묵호고등학교의 상징성을 더한다.
The void wall of the central hall has an opening as a metaphor for the rising sun. It adds to the symbolism of Mukho High School located in Donghae City.
모든 교실은 남향으로 배치되고 기존 교사동과 유기적으로 연결된 기능적인 건물은 두 개의 중정을 품은 단순한 형태가 된다. 건물이 비현실적인 새로운 교육시스템을 강요하는 것이 아닌 지금의 교육시스템이 보다 충실하고 효율적으로 실행될 수 있는 틀로서 작용한다. All classrooms are placed facing south, and the functional building, which is organically connected to the existing teacher building, has a simple form with two courtyards. Rather than forcing an unrealistic new education system, the building serves as a framework through which the current education system can be implemented more faithfully and efficiently.
