경기도 용인 마평동에 들어선 타운하우스는 산 중턱 계곡의 끝자락에 위치하여 조망이 수려하고 단지내 기존 수로가 잘 발달되어 있을 뿐 아니라 수목등의 우거진 광경과 풀향기는 도심과 아주 멀지 않은 곳에 위치하는 숲속의 집으로서 충분한 매력을 가진다. 단지내 수로는 더욱 적극적으로 조성하여 생태 비오톱, 연못, 분수, 수공간 놀이터 등을 가진 타운하우스의 전체 테마를 이루는데 역할을 한다. 전체 17,500평의 대지에 총 75세대로 이루어진 마을은 하회마을, 양동마을과 같은 한국의 전통마을의 집입구조를 가지고 어귓길, 안길, 샛길등으로 체계적으로 분화되며 그에 따라 자연스레 커뮤니티 영역도 나뉘어 대략 10채의 집이 하나의 공동체를 이룬다. 단지의 중심에 물에 둘러 쌓인 작은 둔덕은 마을의 다양한 공동 외부활동을 위한 일동의 '터'의 역할을 행하는 커뮤티니 센터이다. 주택 유형은 총 7개의 유형으로 구성되는데 이는 각각의 위치에서 빛과 조망, 대지 레벨등의 외부요인을 분석한 매트릭스의 결과로써 각각의 집마다 색다른 경험을 제공한다. The village, which consists of a total of 75 households on a total land of 17,500 pyeong, is systematically divided into Eoguigil, Angil, and Byegil with the entrance structure of traditional Korean villages such as Hahoe Village and Yangdong Village. Accordingly, the community area is naturally divided, and approximately 10 houses form a single community.
